Google Launched 5th “Doodle 4 Google” Contest

Recently Google Has Launched its fifth annual U.S. Doodle 4 Google contest and this year they are offering $30,000 college scholarship and a $50,000 technology grant for the winning doodler and the doodler have to chance to see his/her Doodle on Google Homepage.

The “Doodle 4 Google”  contest Theme is “If I could travel in time, I’d visit…”. K-12 students can enter in the contest till March 20 and this time No Registration is required to enter in the contest.For all details to entry form visit Doodle 4 Google .

Google Have made some changes in regards to previous year contest,described below as on their Official Blog.

We’ve made a few enhancements to the 2012 contest. First, we’re opening Doodle 4 Google up to an even wider audience—with a winner from every state. There will be five finalists and one winner per state, so everyone will have a local doodle champion to cheer on. From these 50 State Winners, we’ll find 5 National Finalists and the lucky National Winner.

They have also partnered with Crayola this year to show winning doodle on  64-crayon box—at first! Some celebrity  and Google employees will judge this year include Katy Perry, Jordin Sparks and Jeff “Swampy” Marsh – creator of the kids’ show Phineas and Ferb. All winners from the 50 state will be flown New York City for the national awards ceremony on May 17.

The winning Doodle/Logo will be shown on May 18 on a box of Crayola crayons and on the Google home page.
