Yesterday,i was just formatting my friends USB drive, then i got this error message “Windows Unable To Complete The Format”.I tried everything to format it completely but all in vain.
After some research on Google about it,i come to know the current file system of the USB is Fat [File Allocation Table] – Fat is a file system discovered many years back and still it’s used in storage devices as the preferred file system. And one thing i also got to learn that first i have to format it using other file system and then again have to format it using FAT.
But,how can i convert it to NTFS or format using NTFS.I tried many softwares to do the same but didn’t get success because first i have to make NTFS file system as the default file system in it.And then have to format it using NTFS.
At last i got an easy solution for it and format it easily. So,today i will share how to solve the Windows Unable To Complete The Format error.
