How To Undo URL Change On WordPress Setting Page

Recently by mistake, i have changed my blog URL ( My Homepage Link) in the setting page of WordPress. And as obviously (Changed the Blog address ) i was unable to login/access homepage as well as the posts on the Blog. So, how can i undo the changes I’ve made in the setting page.  If you’re stuck in this type of issue, then this information is specially for you 😉


How To Undo URL Change On WordPress Setting Page?

Step 1: You’ve to access your wp-config.php file to undo the URL change and to do the same login to your Cpanel if you’ve or either if you have your blog ftp credentials then login with them to any ftp client like Filezilla. (Download link).

Step 2: Head to wp-config.php file and add these two lines in your wp-config.php file replace with your domain name.


Step 3: Save the changes and bingo, you’re Done 🙂

Check your blog URL by accessing setting>General page. Make sure your blog preferred domain name is entered there. After checking your Blog URL you can remove the lines you’ve added to your wp-config.php file.
